This symposium was made possible through the support of the RBS-Mellon Society of Fellows in Critical Bibliography, a community of scholars working to advance the study of texts, images, and artifacts as material objects. Junior fellows in the program receive support for classes through Rare Book School at the University of Virginia, and convene symposia based on their areas of research.
